Galvanised malleable fittings are one of the most common types of pipe. Typically, galvanised fittings are cast iron with a galvanised finish. This galvanised finish leaves these fittings more durable than general steel, with high ductility and will also provide additional resistance to corrosion.
These fittings are ideal for use in a variety of applications and pipework systems. This includes water, compressed air, central heating, sprinkler systems as well as both propane and natural gas. These fittings are suitable for both residential and commercial uses.
Each fitting is threaded up to the equivalent BSP standard available unless otherwise stated. Pipe is supplied threaded at each end but will require threading if cut. Joints need to be sealed with PTFE tape. Working pressure up to 25 bar.
