Pipe Size Guide
The OD or Outside Diameter is the measurement across the end of the pipe. This table compares the actual pipe outside diameter to the nominal sizing in metric or imperial.
The easiest way to measure piping is by directly measuring across the end of the pipe at the widest point. Calipers can be useful especially when the pipe end is uneven or inaccessible.
